I was asked for directions from someone looking for a hospital, this place was particulary difficult to find from our current situation - guessing that he was going to visit someone, I jumped out of my car at the traffic lights and said "it is not easy to find from here," follow me I will take you there. He was incredibly grateful and said I can't believe you have been so kind, I felt good for the rest of the day. - By CarolCoach on 7/28/2010

I created my website, http://awarenesshelps.info to help spread the word about animal cruelty and green living - providing information and a way for people to help. - By icare on 7/23/2010

I used to help my friends by proof-reading their homework or written papers for school/university. The word spread, however, and now a lot of people ask me to beta-read their work (or even their creative writings). I'm glad I can help and I never cease to be moved by just how much students I hardly know must trust me to let me read their stuff. - By Leska on 7/19/2010

Today, and every day, I hope to make my family happier, heathlier and contributing for the good of our country. I hope I lead by example and I hope I encourage. I believe a lot of good starts in the home. - By Eloise007 on 7/15/2010

I fixed up my old swing set in our backyard so that our neighbors' children can use it. - By laura-the-dreamer123 on 6/25/2010

I volunteered at an annual, four-day summer service retreat for the third year in a row. We participated in a wide variety of service activities such as relocating and assembling furniture, serving meals in hunger centers, cleaning, landscaping, packing food, sorting toys and clothes, and assisting with a vacation bible school. It was so much fun! - By laura-the-dreamer123 on 6/25/2010

I found this site and have committed myself to doing stuff to help others. - By ChangedReality on 6/12/2010

I found a baby bird today that had apparently fallen out of a nest. His 'parent's were frantically trying to keep me away but I took the baby bird and put him in an empty nest we happened to have in a tree in our yard. Hopefully, I did more good than harm. - By oessister on 6/3/2010

I pulled a toad from the jaws of my little puppy who thought he'd found a new chew toy and set it free to live another day. - By Coolavocado on 6/2/2010

I planted 3 trees, 2 lilacs, a dozen other bushes, wrote a check to my library and a check to the food bank. I also called 2 lonely older folks (widows) to chat about their day. - By Coolavocado on 6/1/2010

I took the bus to work rather than driving. - By Alloktty on 5/13/2010

I brought a ceramic mug to use at work for my coffee instead of using 3 or 4 styrofoam cups per day which will save (by my count)between 750 to 1000 of those things sitting in a land fill forever. - By cutterbill on 3/17/2010

I talked to somebody who was having a bad day. - By aarongomez on 3/7/2010

I have made a commitment to buy only organic foods, and buy locally whenever possible. - By v7962536 on 2/28/2010

We rescued a kitten with a lame leg. Do animals good deads count? - By Charlie Brees on 2/15/2010
